Richard and Shawn fell into Bromance over a simple game. No it wasn’t sports or some video game, but it was the original gaming session. Tabletop gaming started with a group of people who wanted to let their imaginations fly and have a great time.
Recently Shawn made his way back to his group of friends to play some Starfinder (Think D&D in Space). Created by Paizo who developed the Pathfinder gaming system. Shawn rediscovered his love for gaming. The duo decided that they don’t have many Journal Podcast episodes that this was the ideal time. Hopefully this will inspire a few others to take the Tabletop jump.
The duo discuss how they got into Tabletop gaming, why they enjoy it, playing and running campaigns. If you are slightly interested in playing a Tabletop game give this episode a listen and get a group together to try it out.
This may became a new aspect of the Language of Bromance titled Nerd Alert where the bros discuss something they love that’s a bit nerdy. Let us know if you enjoy this type of episode.

About Language of Bromance
Together Richard and Shawn formed the podcast The Language of Bromance and from there it has been nothing but fun. The duo laugh about things they go through, stories in the news and even getting serious discussing net neutrality along with other issues. Every so often their friendship turns to a bitter rivalry with their nerdiest creation the draft episodes. An original take on a best of or a top 10 list. The draft episodes are done like an NFL Draft 7 rounds where Richard and Shawn flip-flop picks on various topics.
