Richard and Shawn follow the path set by Horatio Nelson Jackson and Sewall K. Crocker. Jackson and Crocker set their sights on the first successful trip across the United States in a Automobile. The year was 1903 and the duo took off from San Francisco .
Jackson wanted to impress his Father-In-Law so bad that he took on this $50 bar bet. The duo started out dogless but along the way picked up a canine companion by the name of Bud.
