A conversation takes Shawn on an adventure to understand a local folk hero.  A few hours drive from where Richard and Shawn grew up is the Home of the Unsinkable Molly Brown.  A folk hero in her own right Shawn was under the impression she had survived many sinking ships.  Was his understanding of Molly Brown accurate?

Molly Brown married a man by the name of James Joseph Brown who she quoted as saying “I wanted a rich man, but I loved Jim Brown”.  Shawn takes Richard down a tale that leads him to dislike the local folk hero more and more.

Soon after the couple made some money with their mining business Molly Brown called it quits and started to travel.  Working off of what would be considered alimony Molly Brown fights for Women’s rights, worker's rights, and other causes during the times.  The travels soon lead her to the trip on the Titanic.

Discussing the early 1900’s the Bros talk about games and what is considered sexy compared to history.  What are some of the things the guys thought was cool that in the future may be lame?  Richard shares his tale about his hair and what we may think about it in the future.

About Language of Bromance

Together Richard and Shawn formed the podcast The Language of Bromance and from there it has been nothing but fun. The duo laugh about things they go through, stories in the news and even getting serious discussing net neutrality along with other issues. Every so often their friendship turns to a bitter rivalry with their nerdiest creation the draft episodes. An original take on a best of or a top 10 list. The draft episodes are done like an NFL Draft 7 rounds where Richard and Shawn flip-flop picks on various topics.
