Richard and Shawn hope to someday look back on their career at The Language of Bromance and retire after putting in a long number of years.  After working for all this time they’ll get the golden microphone and sink off to some tropical island for a Brocation to end all Brocations.  Until then the bros talk about two ladies who are actually getting to retire from the world’s oldest profession.

Louise and Martine Fokkens have spent 50 plus years working the Red Light district of Amsterdam and the stories they could tell.  Richard and Shawn review the life of the Fokken twins and 10 interesting facts about the hard working ladies.

The Fokken twins did a number of things for women’s rights, racked up a huge tally of customers, and formed a union.  There is also a tale of an old man who continues his weekly visits to the twins to this day.

About Language of Bromance

Together Richard and Shawn formed the podcast The Language of Bromance and from there it has been nothing but fun. The duo laugh about things they go through, stories in the news and even getting serious discussing net neutrality along with other issues. Every so often their friendship turns to a bitter rivalry with their nerdiest creation the draft episodes. An original take on a best of or a top 10 list. The draft episodes are done like an NFL Draft 7 rounds where Richard and Shawn flip-flop picks on various topics.
